Thank you for visiting our Internet site. As an up-to-date historical society, we want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with our members and our ideals. A new content management system will enable us to always keep you up to date.
At present, our web site is still being updated on a regular basis We are making an effort to present you with our entire spectrum of up and coming talks as soon as possible via the usual channels: Church Bulletins, Libraries and Local Radio.
The Next Meeting of the Society will take place on Friday the 5th of December at 7.30pm in the Colin Glen Trust Premises on the Stewartstown Road (next to the entrance to Glengoland Estate) .

The emphasis and ethos of 'The West Belfast Historical Society' is to promote local history and to keep the memories of those who went before us alive in the minds of the people of today and for future generations to ponder over.
